Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your access to and use of Scanoki (the "Service"), operated by scanoki.io. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • encode destinations that are unlawful, malicious, deceptive, or infringing;
  • distribute malware, phishing, or content that violates others' rights;
  • circumvent usage limits, security, or access controls;
  • resell or expose the Service in a way these Terms do not permit.

We may suspend or terminate access, and disable QR codes or short links, for conduct that breaches these Terms or harms other users.

4. Plans and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor on a recurring basis until cancelled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel at any time from the customer portal; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the destinations, logos, and designs you provide. You grant us a limited licence to host and process them solely to operate the Service. You are responsible for having the rights to any logo or brand asset you upload.

6. Availability and changes

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, and we will give reasonable notice of material changes to these Terms.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, scanoki.io is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.
